CHANGE YOUR BANK
I opened an Absa account on the 19/08/2015 at the Smith Street branch in durban. All my documentation was given and my card was issued to me. My salary went into this account on the 28/08/2015. I tried drawing cash at the Atm due to an emergency that i had and the atm did not allow me to withdraw as it said that i was fica soft locked. I went to the branch next day at 8.45am to resolve this issue. The manager Eugene and the consultant were very understanding that this was unacceptable that i was not allowed to withdraw cash. This matter was only resolved at 12.10pm. I spent over three hours to get this matter sorted out. Due to Absa fault i could not pay my rent and electricity on friday. My electricity was cut off on friday due to absa fault. I had to borrow money on interest to get my electricity coupons. I want Absa to compensate me for my time spent at the branch and for the embarresment that i had to go through when my electricity and rent could not be paid on the 28/08/2015.

Ashley Dean Naidoo
***
***
