Car Insurance claim rejected

My husband and I recently had an accident and submitted a claim to Absa Idirect. our case was allocated to a senior consultant by the name of Gladys Seeri and contacted my husband for investigation purposes. Upon the first interview, many questions were asked of him and so he answered. the lady then returned the call to inform him that they will not be accepting the claim as she has determined that the car was being ussed for business purposes instead of private use which is what it was being covered for. he then elaborated further that he was not on the business leg of the trip when he actually had the accident. he was on his way to meet with the guy who had been fixing thee car the day before the accident as he had intructed that he return that day. my husband works at the UIF which is located in Pretoria CBD and the accident occured on route to Pretoria west where the mechanic was located. the business location that he still had to go to after finishing his car is located in Pretoria East at church and Beckett street. when we continously tried to elaborate on that fact and request that she look further into it, she refused and said that my husband was dishonest when he said that and she choses to believe that he was being dishonest. i informed her to investigate on the different locations relative to where he came from and where she says he was going to and that it wouldnt make sense. she also requested that my husband submit all the claims that he had submitted at work for business trips and he had only 8 intances in his time of employment from 2008 until present. she even said that my husband was being dishonest and did not submit all the claims he had submitted during this timme.we also elaborated that she cannot conclude based on that to say that the vehicle is being used for business purposes as those occassion where unique and rare. UIF has company vehicles that can be app**** and provided for business use. in longer distances, they also hire cars from various companies. however there are instances where the business trip is at short notice to hire and / or the company vehicles are unavailable. in those instances he has to get permission before going on that trip and submit a claim fot that afterwards. it seems as if this company or person has made her personal judgement without investigating all aspects of the claim and has concluded that she feels were being dishonest. we also told her that she could get the receipts for the services rendered at the mechanic and confirm with them whether he had said he was on route to them. she refused. i am highly dissapointed in this company as i have been a loyal customer for many years and receive this treatment on my first claim with them.
