Car finance debit order doubled.

On the 24/09/2020 ABSA (Ford Credit) deducted an amount of R7247.39 from my bank account via debit order. the debit order amount for the month R629.60. When I called I was transferred to 3 different departments when finally a guy by the name of Kingsley ***8 assisted me, which I am grateful for. He advised that the wrong amount was deducted and that I was in advance of R6600, however only the R6600 excess amount of R6600 will be paid back to me and it will take 3 days for the amount to reflect in my account. ABSA has placed me at a disadvantage with their error and debit orders still need to be deducted from my account.

What then does "in advance" mean as Kingsley advised only the amount they deducted will be refunded to me.

Please explain this.

Thank you
