Cannot reach anyone at the call centre

I visited four branches at the ABSA on four different occasions trying to get in touch with the recovery division in the hopes of settling my outstanding balance owing on my overdraft account but it is impossible to get through. I waited for an hour on these occasions and still no one came through to help me. What should I do. I am retrenched and wish to make a once off payment on my overdraft but I cannot get through to the call centre.
