Cancelation of Life Insurance on Personal Loan

I took a loan with ABSA and the Consultant that assisted me explained that my installment will be 1700 including the insurance, but when the debit oder went through it was R2001.01, when I phoned to query why, I was then told that the consultant did not explain to me correctly that the R1700 that I sign for did not include the insurance, I then went to the sunnyside(Pretoria) branch to cancel the insurance so that I can be able to afford paying the actual R1700, I was then told that its cancelled but to date it is still continuing as R2001.01 I will kindly like to get urgent assistance that this insurance to be cancelled with immediate effect.
