Can someone please get involved?!

I received a message from an external supplier absa had hired to track me down. Apparently I have money sitting in some pension fund from a position I held a decade ago. Absa would like to pay me - a decade later. <br> I try to call Absa as I would like to know what the amount is (so I can decide whether to withdraw or move into a preservation fund). No one can help me. The number I was given for the department just rings. Apparently the fund is managed by Absa but it's an external pension fund. This is the reason I'm given as to why no one can give me an answer. I still don't know how much it is or when it's being paid out and it's two months later. Please can someone who knows what's going on, get involved and assist?
