British airways credit card shambles

Applying for a British Airways Credit Card is a nightmare. After multiple failed Calls being on the line for over 30 minute nobody answers the call. Thereafter I emailed and again multiple emails no joy to get my account opened. Eventually the lady from the customer service said I must go to a branch only to be told at the branch they do not handle and cannot open a British Airways account.

Why is it soo difficult? People want to move they spend to absa and it's becoming a nightmare

It is a real shambles this department
