Bring back my sister's money!

My little sister's bank account was de*****ed of her whole balance. These ******* tried to take even more money following their 1st attempt. I wonder how a ********** activity is allowed to happen more than once while no OTP's, email links or smses indicating that a transaction is about to take place were sent to the registered phone details. We went to the branch in Wonderpark, Pretoria and after waiting over 2 hours in the queue, one consultant had the nerve to tell us that she wants to cut the line and we must come back the following day. We obviously protested and that gave the staff a reason to punish us because they wouldn't even look into the ********** matter. The consultant we dealt with blamed my sister! How appalling. She accused my sister of shopping online from ***** websites whereas records clearly show that my sister's last online purchase was in 2018 and it was from Superbalist which is a reliable online store. Then she said she'll provide us with an email so that we can forward our case to it and she failed to do so because going home is clearly more important than helping stranded clients. Judging from how the consultants deal with *****, I'm inclined to believe that all absa ***** cases are an inside job. It's so scary to continue supporting a bank that de*****s underaged kids! I expect every cent she lost to be returned to her bank account immediately! Carelessness and negligence are not what we thought we would experience by opening an account for her.

I received an email from the bank between 11pm-12pm last night. Before I could respond this morning I received an email stating that I didn't respond therefore my case is closed. It's surprising that the same bank that acknowledges that it's lockdown is the same bank that assumes that their emails are received immediately by complainants. Upstanding institutions understand that network interferences may be caused by the pandemic . No further efforts to contact me were made although my cell phone number is available on this website. An institution that relies on emails might as well run their whole business on whatsapp. I was also not notified of a deadline that I needed to be mindful of when submitting my sister's personal details. How do I remain patient for all these days, standing in queues for hours, being turned back and an absa staff member sends one tiny email and they are ready to give up on a ***** case? Wow. I guess absa cancels complaints as quickly as money **********ly flies out of people's accounts. Very poor customer service.
