Breach of Confidentiality and defamation of Character

On the 5th of March I received a call from ABSA namely Crizelda to inform me that the car I bought is now in arrears and that I need to make payment. I advised her that I am aware of it and that I would have to speak to my husband which would only be home by the Friday. Two days later I received a message from her saying that legal action will be taken and a court order has been requested. Another two days later I received a call from her again. She was very unprofessional and said that I should return the car immediately and that I was dishonest with my address details and various other accusations were made from her side. I put the phone down in her ear as I was not her child and I do not allow anyone to treat me badly regardless of the situation. On the 16th of March I was out visiting a potential client of mine, when I noticed a whatsapp voice note from my sister. My client had just gotten up to get some refreshments and I tended to the voice note, the voice note went on playing and I could clearly hear my siters aggrivated voice saying " Lyn-nor die bank soek jou hulle was hier vir jou kar, en die vrou Crizelda se jy antwoord noe jou phone nie" at the same time my client returning with the drinks stood still and looked at me in disbelieve. I couldnt get the voicenote to stop quickly enough. I was so embarrassed.

I left very upset and very embarrassed and called my sister which presumed to recall my whole financial status which was conveyed to her by the ABSA representative.

Key concern:

Are these representatives allowed to communicate very personal information such as repossession of a car to friends and family of a client? I believe not?

I feel that irrespective of my financial stance this is information that is only meant for me, this is the promise made by banks and its what our constitution protects us against. Thus my decision to effect legal action in this matter.
