Bondholders Consent Letter

The ABSA Home Loan is the most unhelpful department I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I am beyond upset and frustrated. On the 15th of April, I went to my local branch to request a bond holder’s consent letter in order to allow a mobile network to install a telecommunication Infrastructure which will help boost network coverage in my area. I was told I needed to send an email to *** who will then email me the letter. So I sent the email same day with all the required details. Didn’t get a response for 7 days so I resent the email. The person handling that email then forwarded my email to *** on the 22nd of April.

On the 27th of April I got a standard response email about my case being assigned to a consulted and was given a reference number. 5 days later I get an email informing me that my case is closed?? How is it closed when I have not yet been assisted?

When I responded to the email asking why my case is closed, I just got another standard email with a new reference number!! Can someone at ABSA please assist, the network company needs to start work and we need that letter in order for the work to start!

Just to update everyone
It's now almost 2 months and I still don't have the bond holder's consent letter I requested. Someone from the department called me to apologies and used the current pandemic as an excuse but come now..2 whole months for something a consultant can just email??? Let's leave COVID 19 out of this one please.
I sent all the documents required to HL Property Control (***) and it's been quiet since. Come on ABSA, this is becoming ridiculous.

5 Months later, still waiting for a resolution, I've been given false promises, requests to email documents(which I have) , basically I'm being sent from pillar to post...all for documents that could be emailed in minutes- something that requires just one person to do. Who exactly does the buck stop with??? Wow!!
