Blocked Card

Yesterday I wanted to do a purchase at my favorite Spar, just to be informed that I have exceeded my daily limit,which I know cant be since I have not bought anything that day.<br> Calling the general inquiries I was informed that My chip on the card was blocked.<br> <br> I have not received any communication from ABSA regarding any problems with my account.<br> The Lady at inquiries also could not tell me why my card is blocked.<br> It is very embarrassing when you stand at the till and your card gets declined for no apparent reason.<br> <br> Please explain why & who blocked my card.<br> <br> Regards<br>
