Beware the "Keep your credit card" scheme

My bad experiences with ABSA started years ago, when I app**** for car finance and they gave me a terrible interest rate. I was naive and thought nothing of it, as after all I did bank with them. Fast forward a few years and I wanted to buy a house and every bank except ABSA gave me a good interest rate. I decided to switch banks, but unfortunately I fell for the ABSA "keep your credit card" scheme where they promise to waive your fees if you keep it. That decision has been a nightmare as at every opportunity I have fees being charged to my ABSA credit card. And every time I need to call in and resolve...well no more!! This last time it happened I had to call in twice and still it is not rectified. I want to close the account but now they demand the fees be paid... what *******... a bank *******! ABSA are definitely just a bunch of rogues who ***** people's money. I cannot wait till I am rid of this credit card. Please do not bank with ABSA, you would just be giving away your hard earned money.
