Beware of Absa Bank
Opened a new account on the 19th March 2026 , today 27th March 2026 still no new card.
Please people if you read this and thinking of opening a new account with Absa Bank. Please don't and save yourself endless calls and emails. A **** bank, that feels **** all just want your bank charges. That's the only way the can stay open. As service is not first priority.

27 Mar 2026, 09:20Nothing will happen and another week will go by with no means to transact. I can't even full up with fuel as the card can't be link to google pay. I done with Absa.
I had to take a Uber to work because my cars out of fuel and I can't even tap my phone.
