Begging for Paid-Up Letter
I have settled my credit card with you in full after having been placed under debt review. On the settlement letter, a small discount was offered and the amount as per the settlement letter was paid. Now, upon phoning the Debt Review Dept, I have to beg to have the balance written off, so that I can get my paid-up letter. ABSA is the most horrible, pathetic bank in Africa. They are quick to harass you if you miss a payment, but if you settle an account in full, still, you have to beg them to do their jobs and issue a paid-up letter as per the NCR. I expect a paid-up letter by Tuesday. I will NOT wait anxiously for someone to actually reply to your unattended email address.
