Banks have a way of manufacturing money

I’m so disappointed by ABSA, wanted to make it my primary bank. Was planning to move my salary back to my ABSA Cheque Account but the level of useless n unhelpfulness I have 2nd thoughts.

I asked a consultant to temporarily stop all debits on my account while I pay off the fees on the account since a debit order went off without my knowledge and created the account to be over drawn.. wanted to pay the fees off in 3 months so I can move my salary to the account. But I guess absa doesn’t want my business it only focus on making sure more fees are generated so instead of me trying to pay off the out standing fees without generating new ones from the bouncing debit order..

Tried closing the account but that isn’t an option because of the outstanding fees, so the consultant said it will just grow in to dept more n more until my credit profile is none exsistent.

A good day turned in to a bad one finding out that, my favorite bank is something else.. and to think I’m a Premium Customer
