Banks are ******** their clients

I find it strange that to this day Banks still allow unauthorized debit orders to go through, what is also strange is that it looks like Banks are working together in *****ing clients monies I had a debit order of R171.00 go off my account on 29th July 2022, Ref : STAN EXEC S/C *** - when I called Absa on the 1st - i.e. yesterday I was told it was from Standard bank/ merchant bank. I asked for The telephone number for the people who debited my account to follow up, the number is ***, it belongs to Standard bank. At no point did I authorize this debit order via sms , email or any form of communication, I do not answer unknown numbers , nor respond to unknown smses/ emails. Now how does Absa allow this to happen ? It's pathetic!!!!!!

Trying to call the number I was unsuccessful because I was on hold for more than 15 minutes, tried again later still was on hold for almost 10 minutes with no one answering the phone just a machine tellingme there high call volumes.

I reversed the debit order , the Last time I had unauthorized R99 debit orders go off my account must have been over 5 years ago and after writing a complaint about Absa , they eventually stopped.

Stop *****ing clients money
