banking turned into robbing

I hold a student account with absa of with which my bank chargers are suppose to be R16 however to my shock I was charged close to R600. I go to the branch seeking to.understand what the charges are for and no1 can help me I ask to cancel an the account and im told I have to wait. Such services are disgusting and I want nothing to do with absa and id highly appriciate it if my accpunt got canceles with immidiate effect. I will always pin this company to day light rovvery and the worst pf customer service.
