Bank wont cancel fixed deposit

I put in a fixed deposit last week but after that I decided that I wanted to use the money for funds to go to my family overseas I am now told that I have to issue a reason for the funds to be released to me ….. WHAT?????? This has nothing to do with you on the internet it does say I can cancel this if I want to and I have decided to send the money to family overseas I do not have to prove to you what I want the money for you can please cancel this and refund me the money
