Bank with no back up system

I was at Absa Tsakani mall doing a cash deposit on the atm when the electricity went off. Unbelievable that. Huge bank like Absa has no back up system. I didn't get to finish the process. The ladies within the bank told me I can only be assisted in Monday.the money I was depositing was needed urgently and now am sitting with no plan because the process couldn't finish because of loadshedding. My question is how is it that such a huge bank has no back up system that kicks in immediately when electricity goes off in a country that is well known to have constant electricity issues. I am fuming right now that I can only get help on Monday and that's taking away time from me again.
