BANK STATEMENTS DISCLOSED WITHOUT MY CONSENT!

On 28 January 2019 I received a Statement Disclosure Notification from ABSA stating that an online retailer had requested my bank statements to be disclosed to them. I immediately responded to this notification by calling ***** Operations to state that I did not give consent for this.

Today I learned that despite my responding immediately to block the request my bank statements were made available to the online retailer allowing an account to be **********LY opened in my name with them!

I WANT TO KNOW WHY MY BANK STATEMENTS WERE DISCLOSED EVEN THOUGH I CALLED ***** OPERATIONS WITHIN 5 MINUTES TO BLOCK THE REQUEST!!
