Bank Charges overrides all

<p>I have 3 monthly stop orders of payments I make to my mother (pensioner) and 2 stoporders for my daughter for "pocket money" and savings for her matric farewell. On 1 August 2016 the stoporders go off successfully. I receive an sms to say that I must see to it that there is funds in my cheque account otherwise it will affect me negatively. I draw a statement and see that my bank charges for unpaid items is +/-R790. Today 4 August 2016 Absa decided to return my stoporders that went off successfully to rather take the bank charges of +/-R790!! My salary only comes in after the 5th monthly, but its better for ABSA to take money and throw an account overdrawn and I bet you I will be charged for ABSA returning my stoporders in order for them to get the banking charges money!!</p>
