Bank charges on inactive card

I app**** for my credit card on the 11th of November and received it on Friday the 18th which I thought was rather quick and was pretty happy.

I tried to use it the next day (Saturday) and received a message that the card was invalid. I immediately called Customer Service and was told the card had not been FICAd and this would take 24-36 working hours. I allowed this time to pass and tried the card again, but nothing.

Then on Monday I received a statement telling me I have R150 to pay up for "bank charges". THE CARD REMAINS INVALID and I've heard nothing further regarding this. I WILL NOT BE PAYING FOR ANYTHING until the issue is resolved or I will simply cancel.

It has been a week since my review was posted and I still havent heard anything.
It was nice of you people to pretend you were responding when nothing came to fruition. How you qualify to be a company that can provide people with financial sevice is mind-boggling. Worst customer sevice I have ever experienced.
