Bad Third Party Insurance Processes
My car was hit behind by another car who the owner is a registered member of ABSA Insurance ***). I reported this to the ABSA insurance and I couldn't claim until the owner opened an insurance claim. The owner opened the claim and I tried to claim. It was not my fault that the accident happened and thus the insurance company of the registered owner should then pay.I work +50km from where I live.In order to get a hired car paid by ABSA,ABSA requires a lot of personal information for assessing if they should pay for the hired car. Some of the personal information requested by ABSA is as follows:
1. Bank details of the registered owner of the vehicle. To score out any debits and credits - Why
2. Policy schedule confirming my car is insured for business use - and if not, why does it matter? He hit my car?
3. IRP forms (Profit from use of vehicle) - Personal, why?
4. How often is the vehicle used for delivery-delivery notes/job contract - Why?
5. Invoices-proof of income for the specific days on which vehicle will be required if rental not available-U call!

ABSA your client's car hit mine. Thus you should not be requesting these from me.All you need to do is pay and fix my car.
