BAD SURVICE EVER
ABSA is costing my mother her pension funds due to a mistake on their side unable to verify the account details with SASSA after the account was open in July 2020, when we followed up with SASSA they informed us there is a problem on ABSA side and that they are unable to pay my mothers pension funds,now my mother needs to open a new account with a different bank due to ABSA neglect to open a simple savings account, first they tel my mother the proof of address is not accepted due to the word Nelspruit does not appear on the Eskom account, and now they can not every positive validate the account with SASSA so my mother can get get pension funds that is due to her since October 2020, will not do business with ABSA again due to this my mother can loss her first ever pension funds

We will investigate and provide you with feedback timeously. We also want to know how the account was opened, which platform was used.Please take note that if the proof of residence is not complying with FICA, therefore the account will not be opened but we are prepared to investigate the matter further. This happened after my mother was in ABSA last week to fix every thing and they told her everything is correct and fixed and then she received a call today from SASSA informing her that there is still a problem at the bank as they can not verify the account details.
The account was opened at Nelspruit Crossings ABSA branch on 29 July 2020, then 2 weeks back when we followed up why my mothers SASSA payment was not yet paid out we where informed there is a mistake, then on the document ABSA gave my mother we notice her ID number was incorrect and last week on Monday she went to a branch in Pretoria to fix everything and was told it was fix and we sent the documents to SASSA Nelspruit and today they called my mother to say there is still a problem with the account.
