Bad service from restructuring department

In December last year(2015) I did a purchase know that my account balance was in the positive just to get a call from the call center saying that my account is in arrears by R2900+-. Surprisingly I went to the bank to investigate and found that. That was bank chargers from the purchases that didn't go through. On top of that I did not have the money to make payment due to the fact that I'm still on maternity leave and is only receiving 33% of my salary, which was explained to them. I was then advise to make arrangements to pay off my balance due on my check account which I did. Documents was send through to put a hold on the account and then to transfer my salary into my savings account(which I had to opened). Today on my arrival at the bank I found out that they deducted the whole balance due on my cheque account. What happened to the arrangement that was made? That's for banking with Absa for more then 10years. I must say though the teller at customer service that helped me was very pleasant, had lots of patience even though she was busy with me for 45-60minutes trying to get someone to assist me at the restructuring department.
