Bad Service Delivery

Since last year approximately August/September 2016 I have been to the consultants first at the Linton Grange Absa in Port Elizabeth and again to Baywest Mall last year in November 2016 and was assisted by Xoliswa to cancel the credit life policy on my personal loan. Xoliswa promised me that she would follow up and contact me back, but I should check the deduction which is approximately R500 paid towards the credit life policy. I contacted her in December 2016 to inform her that the deducation was still the same and she was suppose to come back to me. Till date no response was received and I spoke to Karen at the Baywest Mall in Port Elizabeth and she then re-sent the form on 18 January 2017. I went back to Karen yesterday 26 January 2017. After being on the phone for almost an hour with the credit life department, they informed her that there are new forms and procedures to follow. She then promised to send the forms and follow up with the credit life division. Every month over R500 has been deducted from my salary since last year and I have done my part. Who will take responsibility for this amount which I feel should be re-imbursed to me. Why should I be penalised for something that I cancelled long time ago.

Hi Claudette,

I have provided my ID number as requested, but I have still not received a reply on my complaint.

The branch did contact me to inform me that the policy was cancelled, but I want to know about other monies as it was not my fault that the cancellation was done only now and I cancelled last year already.
