Bad service

I paid off my vehicle finance in November 2024 and got a paid up letter from Mapeseka in Legal departments, she assured me that all necessary departments would be made aware that I've settled the account, however upon applying for vehicle I was declined and told it's due to the said account due to none payment and with an outstanding amount of R56 000.00. Basically I am blocked from Absa whereas I have paid off my account.
