BAD Service and communication and no help to resolve the problem

You lodges claim regarding a earthquake that happen on the 30 July 2021 to your house. With a start of processing the claim on the same day the earthquake that happen at 6.34 am in the morning. The claim was log with ABSA around 08:30am. First contactor was appointed, arrangements was made with this contract to access the damages on Monday morning at 09:00 am for 09:30 am. First Contractor call and said, the claim was cancelled because I am using my own contractor. I call ABSA again and was told there was a misunderstanding on their site and reinstate the first contact to assess the damages to you home. Then cancel the first contractor again on the close of business day because they don’t trust the first contactor that’s on the ABSA panel. Then you complain then reinstate again ABSA reinstate then again. First contactor was on time with the assessment. Contractor send document to ABSA; ABSA need a second contractor to do a second assessment decide the first one was not sufficient. Contractor ask for appointment for a Saturday because ABSA need the documents ASAP. That is now 2 weeks later and nothing was done. So the second contractor sit with the paper work for more the 2 weeks. When you complain after 27 day then ABS is trying to do something. If I have not use mt contractor to replays the windows I will still be sitting with broken Windows. ABSA was refuse point blank to replace the Windows. We are in the middle of Winter and with Covid 19 that make is round but you must get sick and die before ABSA will even try to help. I want to say think twice before making use of the Insurance I am still waiting :(
