Bad customer service Absa Bank

I went to Absa N1 City on 30 December to request statements from my accounts for the 2022 tax year. This was as per a SARS instruction. I was told at customer service, that the system does not allow them to go back to February 2021. How is this possible? Will Absa pay my fine?
