Bad customer service

Doing business with ABSA Ceres is a total nightmare. I opened a new account for my child at the beginning of the year. I had to supply proof of address and gave a retail account which was accepted at the time. I was then called back twice as the information did not save or something went wrong. A month or so later, I received another call from the branch requesting my child's ID for some reason. Again, I visited the branch,only to be asked for proof of address again. I informed them that no one told me telephonically to bring proof of address. Went back again with the retail account that was used to open the account only to be told they do not accept that specific account.neither another account I could supply them with. The consultants told me any other retail account will do. Went back again with proof of address, only to be told again, they do not accept it. Went back again today with another account. It took about an hour (my lunch time) and eventually I had to tell the consultant to cancel everything she was busy with as I had to go back to work. She told me that if she cancels what she is busy with I will need to come back again. I have had it now. This is the worst experience I have had in a long time. They are wasting my time and still the bank account has not been updated/FICA'd.
