BAD COMMUNICATION

Yesterday I stopped to get petrol for my car. When I wanted to pay, my debit and credit card was all blocked. I had to asked my husband to come through to pay for my petrol. After a conversation with ABSA, they told me they blocked my cards because I did not FICA my account. Without any notice, sms, calls or e-mails letting me know that I need to FICA my documents otherwise they will blocked all the cards. They did not even send me a notice that they have blocked my cards. I had to find out the hard way.<br> <br> After my telephonic conversation, they said that I can FICA my documents and they will unblock my cards in 48 hours. For 2 days, I will not be able to draw money, use any cards. How must I live!<br> <br> ABSA did not even bother to apologize for the inconvenience.
