Bad Bank Drowning

ABSA bank Home Insurance drowned along with the flood damage to my house. Being a loyal client since 2004 i am yet to see them respond to my insurance claim - two assessors assessed the damage to my roof and no word of when they will fix it. Repeated phone calls and emails have no bearing. All those monthly premiums down the drain.

Dear Daphne,

Further to my patient and civilized approach, I do expect this financial institution to show some respect to clients. Especially in the light of the fact that I have paid my way since 2014 and secondly it is surprising that although this property is owened by ABSA, it does not care that it is fast loosing value.

To solve my current demise I contracted a company to fix the roof, but i am not going to fix the ceiling which was damaged due to the latest flood damage and downpour of rain the last three months.

This is me writing from my lounge - the only livable spot in the house.

Regards

Marius
