Bad Bad Terrible horrific service

<p>This was the most disgusting service ever i now know why Nedbank BANKING ARE MORE COSTY THEN ABSA ITS BECAUSE THEY GIVE BETTER AND CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE</p> <p>Last week i got a phone call from ABSA exchange department Hi mrs Coetzer would you like to open an account of R98 and get a week away absoluteley free wow that sounds awesome i tought to myself not knowing what would happen. Send through all my details to get this up and going. Emailed everything they needed to the following email address ********** twice no feedback gotten as it was promised by numerous of the call centre agemts had to call back every hour to follow up on this account. They then told me that they were awaiting a payslip on my next call made to them ..</p> <p>Someone then finally phoned me back Friday afternoon saying all was in order and that i could go to my nearest branch and collect a card with my id book and 50 rand.</p> <p> </p> <p>Excellent i thought well guess what it wasnt i got there at 09;00 got helped got a card and went to jet felt so ashamed card was declined went back they were busy closing as they close at 11 on a Saturday ( this was to my suprise as most banks closed at 1300 on weekends) the lady helped me and gave me a nother card still wasnt working by the third card i could enter a pin then got a message stating visit your nearest branch regarding Fica 69.</p> <p> </p> <p>went home in tears no debit orders will be pd and it will be penalties for these reasons absa still Monday morning 11:33 am cant explain to me why there is a hold on my account (new) waisted R120 on calls to the customer centre with the bucket just being passed to the next eventually someone told me to go to the branch again.</p> <p>Now Monday morning im missing a days work and money because of ABSA and them being *********** went to the branch the lady Maliza, ********** has been the only one giving ABSA hope for tomorrow. She phoned them spoke to them and tried to help me, but once again ********** told her that they do not work with emails they only work with calls ( then why email it to that email address flipit man) phoned through customer service again today and asked to speak to a manager got put through to Sandra now awaiting a call from Sandra lets see if i will today now finally be able to use my acc by the way thank you for the so called holiday pffffft what **** ABSA is. Will definitley not encourage family and friends to make use of ABSA </p> <p> </p> <p>as i was busy sending this email Miss Sandra called me back stating that she has spoken to them and it usually takes about seven working days but they will attend to it in 30min she is going in a meeting and will check it when she is done.</p> <p> </p> <p>Thank God for a response but think i will be closing this account and switching over to nedbank once again. never thought ABSA could be this ****</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
