Avios Credit card closer

<p>Hi. I went to the Randburg branch today between 1pm and 2pm to close Avios credit card. I was assisted by Mr DP Mohlala who gave me a settlement amount which I paid with the Tellers . I went back to him as instructed by him to finalise the closer. He then called the Avios call centre. He then said they cannot close the credit card immediately as the department that works with "credit card account closers" was closed as advised by the consultant he spoke to. He said he will diaries and follow up. God forbid what if something happens to him before he gets to it. Where is my proof? Can Absa please close this credit card with immediate effect. I am really exhausted with all this back and forth when dealing with Absa. </p>
