ATM didn't dispense cash but debited my account

Good day Yesterday morning at 07:34 we went to ABSA ATM in Pretoria(Shell SALVOKOP) to withdraw R500 using my Nedbank card. The ATM processed the transaction for a very long time and eventually the machine made noise”, it did not dispense any money it gave a slip to say the transaction was unsuccessful and will be reversed automatically. I then received a notification from my bank that R500 has been withdrawn from my account. I called ABSA Client Care but they are referring me to NEDBANK branch, I am now expected to go to the branch, I do not understand why because the ATM is yours. It’s your responsibility to return my funds. Please use the details I have provided below to reverse my funds. Don’t be the typical ABSA that we know, do your job, we are now in the middle of pandemic, I do not want to go around to the branch to sort out something that you should have corrected your error yesterday
