atm cash deposits

I bank with ABSA and reside in the Phoenix area,Durban,Kwa-Zulu natal.I do alot of cash deposits using the atm at the Phoenix plaza on 2 occasions the atm had cancelled my transaction and not returned my cash until the following monday,one of the occasions being today and the prior occasion mid last year.My problem is that if we as customers are doing cash deposits its because we want the money to reflect immediately into our accounts.todays cash was supposed to be deposited into my cheque acc and thereafter an amount transferred into my brothers account who is also banks with absa.Money was for debit order purposes.Is absa going to pay those debit orders that bounce due to insufficient funds which was supposed to be deposited by myself and into his account?if the machines are faulty absa shouldnt be accepting the cash!i am thouroughly annoyed with ABSA as i hold 3 accounts with them!if this is the type of service that is being provided we shouldnt be banking with absa!
