Appointment to change a signatory

I am concerned that ABSA central city is giving us dates and appointments that are in two months to change a signatory member as she has deceased. I went to Absa Brooklyn and I was advised that there are no appointments. are these Absa's not the same? We just need to change a person to add another one why wait until the 26 May from Feb??
