Appalling Service - ABSA Vehicle and Asset Finance department.

Appalling Service - ABSA Vehicle and Asset Finance department. I am completely flabbergasted about the appalling service from the ABSA Vehicle and Asset Finance department. My request started on the 24th of February 2020. I called in requesting a company proxy and a paid up letter. The friendly assistant requested that I send an email and request it in writing with a copy of my ID and Vehicle documents attached. On 20 March 2020 I followed up telephonically. I was at this point assisted by Rirhandzu Sihlangu. She explained that the email does not suffice and I must write a letter and request the documents. This was done according to her suggestion. 23 March 2020, an email with the letter and other documents was attached and emailed to her on the 23rd of March 2020. She confirmed receipt. Lockdown happened 26 March 2020 and understandably nothing happened until I followed up again on 14 May 2020. 14 May 2020. I called and tried to get hold of Rirhandzu. She was on lunch and I was assisted by Zenobia Van Wyk. I sent the same email to her and requested that she update me on the progress of my request. She rep**** that they cannot get a duplicate Vehicle registration document due to the Licensing department that was still not open under the lockdown regulations. From the outset my request was very clear. I requested a copy of the company proxy and a paid up letter not a duplicate Vehicle Registration document. 18 May 2020, I emailed both Rirhandzu and Zenobia requesting an update. 19 May 2020, Rirhandzu called me and informed me that their courier was not working due to the Lockdown and will be sent by 1 June 2020 19 May 2020, Zenobia this was Zenobia’s response “Good morning, I’m extremely sorry for the late responds. I spoke to our admin department regarding the Paid up letter and the Change of ownership form, according to the parson that spoke to has the documents already been picked and awaiting to be couriered as soon as the courier company starts working. Hope all is in order Kind regards Zenobia” 3 June 2020, I sent an email requesting update on the matter and received no response. 4 June 2020, I sent another email requesting update and received no response. 5 June 2020, Zenobia rep**** – rep**** in writing what she told me on the 14th of May 2020. 10 June 2020, I requested for an update. Rirhandzu rep**** as follows: “GOOD DAY I trust you’re doing well, I spoke to George our document manager he has confirmed that your documents will be at the Lambton branch by Friday 12 June. Will we be sending you your paid up letter and NCO forms, you can take this documents along with the original natis in your position to your nearest traffic department to change ownership. I trust you the above in order.” 10 June 2020, Zenobia also rep**** – “ 17 June 2020, I walked in to Lambton branch even though they have not called me. I enquired based on the emails from Rirhandzu and Zenobia. He tried calling them while I was there but with no success. 19 June 2020, I sent another email requesting an update. Rirhandzu rep**** and said I should call the branch. I called the Branch and Eddie Mohlala confirmed that there are no documents for me. I guess that this is the way business is conducted by ABSA. I would like to have this very straight forward matter to be resolved. ABSA please give me a copy of your company proxy and a paid up letter in order to effect change of the Title holder. S Ayer ***
