APPALLED BY ABSA PERSONAL LOANS/COLLECTIONS CALL CENTRE
I have been a customer of Absa for YEARS multiple vehicles and personal loans and never have I ever had such appalling service as I did the last 3 months.
Firstly, once Covid payment relief came I had to put all my accounts on a relief plan due to the pandemic and loss of income. I called in to do payment relief in the middle of April and received a bunch of messeges that I rep**** to as requested. I then received sms's that all my accounts have been successfully put on payment relief for the months of May, June and July. After this my account was deducted for 1 personal loan for the month of May and June which to my knowledge was incorrect given my account were all confirmed to be on payment relief. I then requested a refund for the 2 amounts taken just to later find out the refund they had done, put my account in arrears because that account payment relief was only done for the months of JULY AUG AND SEP - but this was not disclosed to me at the time of requesting the refund AND NOW I AM LIABLE FOR AN ARREARS AMOUNT OF R3250.00 and they keep taking R4600.00 every month.
For to months I have queried this and the people in the call centre keep telling this is just a mistake and it will be corrected, and they refund the R3 grand again after then having to wait 7 to 10 days for my money, this has gone on now for 3 month with people telling me it is absa's mistake.
Then in the month of September again R4600 out my account 4 days before I have to go on Holiday, I was told AGAIN by a lady name GOITSIMANG MBOKANI ON THE 2/09/2020 @10:06AM that this was a mistake and the she will request a urgent refund as I am going on vacation. On the 08/09/2020 I spoke to KEDIBONE MABUSA @ 10:36AM who told me that the refund was done on the 4/09/2020 and then told me that after I received my refund all my accounts would be in order and there will be NO arrears amounts.
SAFE TO SAY - IT IS THE 15/09/2020 AND I STILL DON'T HAVE MY MONEY AND MY WHOLE VACATION - THANKS TO ABSA WAS SPENT PENNYLISS.
Once I returned from my vacation I went to the New Market branch where I was assisted by a Lady named Janine who did her utmost best to assist me but unfortunately could not get anywhere with the call center as well. I then phoned again and got through to a very professional lady named Deborah who is still now trying to assist me, but my issue is that my account is still reflecting in arrears because of the refund requested on my account which I was not at time told was NOT on payment relief. I feel this is negligence an ABSA's part and they should be held accountable for the actions of their untrained consultants.
HOW IF I SPEAK TO SO MANY CONSULTANTS AND ALL TELL ME THAT IT WAS AN ABSA ERROR AND KEEP REFUNDING ME - AND TELLING ME THAT THE ACCOUNT IS UP TO DATE - HOW COME I AM LIABLE FOR THE R3250.00 - CALLS ARE RECORDED ARE THEY NOT AND I WAS CONSULTED MANY TIMES THAT MY ACCOUNTS WERE UP TO DATE AND IT WAS THE RELIEF DEPARTMENT ERROR - WHO WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE UNPAID ACCOUNT ON MY NAME BACAUSE OF EXTRA MONEY TAKEN AND THE MULTIPLE AMOUNT OF RETURNED DEBIT ORDERS THAT ALL EFFECT MY CREDIT SCORING - WHOS GOING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THAT????????????
YOU HONESTLEY NEED TO GET TRAINED CONSULTANTS, BECAUSE THE SERVICE IN YOU CALL CENTRE FOR PERSONAL LOANS ARE HORRIFYING!!!!!!!!
I WANT TO HEAR FROM A MANAGER WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE BECAUSE I HAVE HAD IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
