Annoyingly long timeline for loan application

I have been a client of ABSA for years now. My experience dealing with ABSA transactional lending/personal loans department has not been good. I app**** for a personal loan via the app and a quick google search on the the timeline said "the initial decision on a loan application is made on the first day and the bank requires another 3-5 working days to finalise". After 3 calls and 7 working days I have received no feedback or any finalisation of my loan application - instead I keep getting a new reference number. This is quite disappointing really.
