An emotional hole bigger than the Kimberly hole
Can you believe it I'm holding on for an hour for a consultant who answered my call, referring my claim to the person dealing with it. After an hour of holding on my airtime was depleted.
I reported my geyser problem on the 5 July 2022. Today is the 14 July and still no positive answer.
The consultant took my claim no, to refer my call to the consultant dealing with my claim. I ended up holding on for an hour till my airtime was depleted.
I also sent emails which will send an automatic reply to acknowledge my claim and that it will enjoy attention within the next 3 - 5days.
Surely holding on for 60min at the customers expense does not sit well with me in the current economic condition. By the way I called from a cell phone. Just imagine the amount of airtime I wasted to receive such bad service.
The time, money and airtime wasted makes a big emotional hole in my trust in absa insurance. The hole is much bigger than Kimberly's big hole.
Is this the norm and standards in the new democratic South Africa.
I was forced to travel to sanlam centre absa cape town branch for help and they were very helpful. Thumbs up to them.
