Almost 2 weeks and no funeral cover payment has been made!

I visited the Absa branch next to Ontdekkers Road not too long ago regarding a funeral cover I had to claim regarding my late grandfather. I handed in my documents as well as my letter of authority issued by the court, along with my grandfather's documents. It has been almost two weeks now and I still haven't received any funds to cover the debt I made to bury my beloved old man and today I had to phone 9 times to get an answer and only to find out my documents were never submitted to the NDE, who has to pay the money to me so I can cover all expenses made and I have been told to return to the bank to find out what's going on, not to mention waiting forever in the que.

Imagine if I had to rely on this bank to pay me in time to bury my grandad. It would have been a huge disaster, not to mention shame and the utmost disrespect towards the dead and those who don't have the funds to reach alternative measures.
