Last night in Welkom. I went to withdraw money at the main Absa branch. When I got there with my sister there was no security at the door as per normal. Secondly there were 2 gentlemen on different ATMs pretending to be busy withdrawing statements. So I went to withdraw the money on one ATM and the one guy said to me I must shift cause the other machine didn't have cash and pointed me to another ATM. I became a bit suspicious so instead of going to the one he pointed I decided to go to the other one, while busy inserting the card the other guy, says to us didn't you guys receive smses from the bank about not entering your card in the machine instead we must scan the card. We didn't respond , he then came to us and acted as if he is trying to help us. He "showed "us where to put the card so that whatever device they put there can scan our card, so immediately i could see that these guys are ****mers. Both of them worked together and it seems like they are used to ****ming people at this bank.
