After making a payment arrangement the full amount got debitted

I have an Absa personal loan and i recently got retrenched and thus cannot afford the montly repayments but i was willing to make a monthly payment still.

I spoke to a lady from Absa about 3 weeks ago and made arrangements to pay R2000 monthly which was agreed upon.

This Saturday the full amount was debitted after i make an arrangement with Absa. I went to the Absa branch in Fordsburg and was assisted by a Petunia who seemed not interested in helping me.

This is rather an inconvenience for me after having made a payment arrangement. i know i owe the bank but life happened and i got retrenched, i am not saying i am not going to pay the loan i am making a plan to pay half the monthly repayments to Absa.

Very disappointed.
