Account was paid up over a year ago ???

So it looks to me the only way Absa responds is if you make a complaint.<br> So here it goes:<br> Firstly the credit card account was paid up for over a year already, but the account was handed over to Newtons Attorneys. Received numerous calls from them, saying the account has been handed over to them for collection and they getting no payment. So over the last year, nobody at Absa bank realized the account has actually been paid up, but they were easy to still demand money.<br> Our Debt counselor sent them mails and mails, requesting them to send a certificate of balance, but not luck, no response. So I made a complaint, and guess what, I finally got them to reply.<br> So the account is now in credit, I have requested for the money back that has been over paid, and for the paid up letter.....once again no response from Absa.<br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>
