Account opening refusal

<p>I like to thank Absa bank Middelburg central for refusing to open a bank account for me due to their unique policy from other banks in accepting FICA documents especially the proof of residence. This has made me explore other options that were there but also hidden on my bank FNB. I wanted to send money through Western Union from ABSA and unlike any other available South African bank, I was refused to use my FNB bank statement as a proof of address and I was told to come with my water bill account ONLY since I did not have that document I realised that the decision I took to move my account from Absa to FNB was impossible. I went back to my FNB bank to enquire more about the options of sending money abroad and I was told of Moneygram Service of which it has made my life more easier because you send money now and it is receiced in the next 5minutes. I was soo happy because if not for Absa arrogant consultant I would have taken all my accounts to them and regret later due to poor service. thank you Absa Middelburg central in Mpumalanga brach, you have helped me in openning my eyes.</p>
