Account on hold
My account got placed on hold for no reason. I went to the branch in table view. They can not give me a reason to why it is placed on hold. I've been an absa client for many years but I'm so angry right now. I need my account reinstated or a valid reason why it is put on hold. I am expecting money to be paid into my account which now I don't have access to and have a family to look after.

22 Jul 2021, 14:26I was told that my account will be fixed latest Tuesday. It still is not open. I can't transfer the money in my account and feed my family or put fuel in my vehicle. My salary is getting paid into my account every Thursday. I need my account hold to be lifted as there is no reason for my account to be put on hold anyways. I am livid and I won't leave this here.

26 Jul 2021, 13:49Hi Lebogang, the branch I visited was Table View, after this complaint someone from ABSA has called me and told me my the hold on my account will be lifted but it will take a few days, the latest 20-07-2021. Today is the 26th and it is still on hold.
