Account not opened
<p>I app**** for a Gold Cheque Card online on the 27th of June. An email and SMS were sent to confirm that my cheque account was opened. I was told that a consultant will call me to finalise account opening. A week went by and no call from consultant. I went to the Sanridge Branch to find out what's going on. I was told that my FICA documents weren't verified. I was told to provide them with FICA documents, which I did. First consultant told me her computer froze after 40 minutes. Then I was told to try another consultant, which I did. While second consultant was trying to help me, she also told me same thing that her computer froze and I must visit another branch.</p> <p> </p> <p>At that moment, I told myself that let me give up and stick to the devil I already know. Now I am receiving SMSes from ABSA. They are acting as if I have an account with them. Even though account was never opened. Please cancel the application. I no longer need the account. </p>
