On the 22/03/2016, I received an amount of R20 000.00 from Ms N. Shabalala which was meant to pay the Society Club of Women of Africa through my account but that never happened because on the 23/03/2016, Absa Collections department decided to journal my account without my consultation and took away -R17 000.00 which was not mine but for the Society Club. I condemn this act by the Collections Department because I already had an instalment arrangement (during 2016) with them to pay R500.00 monthly since I'm unemployed from last year to ensure payments in my personal loan with them but unfortunately, I still defaulted. Even though I did default, that doesn't give Absa the right to take away money that doesn't belong to me, irrespective of what the NCR Act says. I request Absa to refund back the whole journaled amount immediately and refer back to the telephonic future arrangement we had earlier this year because I'm going to inform the Public about their pathetic action in people's accounts, as well as follow up with the legal authorities on the matter. They will do the refund if and only if, they still consider me as their Valued Customer because their act was UNFAIR TREATMENT (TCF).
