Account handed over to third party collectors after judgement was taken

<p>I had an Absa credit which i defaulted in payment and a judgement was taken on the account and then Absa handed over the account to third party collectors. The third party collectors have managed to collect on the debt owed to Absa the account was paid in full in April. Due to the judgement taken again my name i need a paid up letter from Absa with the case number so that i can reverse the judgement on my name.</p> <p>The account was paid in full in April 2017 to the third party collectors and i am struggling to get a paid up letter for the account three months later my itc status still remains with the judgement and i cannot continue with my life months after the account has been paid in full. How is it fair on the consumer that Absa managed to recover the debt owed now i cannot get a paid up letter with the judgement case number to get my lawyers to remove the action against my name.</p> <p>This is not fair on me as my life has been on hold while Absa and the third party collectors are taking me from pillar to post over a simple letter to remove the judgement against my name. Their account has been paid in full three months ago till now i am struggling to get this letter.</p>
